Welcome to the 9th International Conference on Sewer Processes and Networks (SPN9). SPN9 is being organised by the Sewer Processes and Networks Research Group at Aalborg University. The event will be held in Aalborg, Denmark, August 27-30, 201. This will be the third time the conference is held in Aalborg. The conference is an IWA sponsored event and is organised by members of IWA’s Sewer Systems & Processes working group (SSPWG).
The 10th IWA Symposium on Modelling and Integrated Assessment (Watermatex 2019) will provide an international forum to present, discuss and exchange methodologies and international experiences on all aspects of water-related problems, within an interdisciplinary framework that relies heavily on the use of different types of models. While methodology-focused, the symposium’s contributions of course also extend to practical applications of such methodologies, where applications are not restricted to any single discipline.
We are delighted that the 20th International Symposium on Health-Related Water Microbiology (HRWM) will take place in Vienna, Austria from 15-20 September. The Health-Related Water Microbiology Sub Specialist group is involved in all aspects of public health where water has the role as a vector or reservoir of pathogens. The symposium will bring together researchers, policy makers, water practitioners from academia, industry, engineers, water utilities, public authorities and administration to exchange latest scientific findings, experience and knowhow.
